IEC has a national, highly rated apprenticeship program that is approved by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Apprenticeship & Training. This program can provide trained workers to job sites and increase the productivity of the labor force.

IEC offers a variety of Journeyman and Contractor continuing education seminars that provide information on better business practices.

By having many electrical contractors meet regularly at business meetings, as well as social functions, we encourage an exchange of ideas that can solve common business problems for our members.

By working with other trade associations, IEC can create industry coalitions to support or oppose legislation.
