It may have been a wet one yesterday, but that didn’t “dampen” any of our golfer’s spirits as they lit up the course!
Every year, Central IN IEC hosts a Golf Outing for Member Contractors, Industry Partners, and anyone else who wants to get in on the fun to support a great cause! Our Golf Outing is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and, being a non-profit, all of the proceeds go directly into our Electrical Apprenticeship Program, and all of the facets that make that program possible.
After a steamy week, we were actually pretty relieved to get a break from the heat. Volunteers Angela and Sherri (InPwr Inc.) Melissa and Judy (Kinder Electric Co Inc), and Tanner (Federated Insurance) got there early to help Sherri and Devin get the registration table all set up.
Once golfers got in, they were treated to an awesome lunch of burgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks by our sponsors, Central Supply Co., Bison Financial Group, and London Witte and Company, LLP.
And then they were off!
Upon their return, we had a wonderful dinner cooked by our venue, Ironwood Golf Course, and sponsored by Thomas & Betts and All-Phase Electric Supply Co.
It was finally time for the main event! We raffled off some incredible prizes that were provided by Milwaukee Tool and Federated Insurance, and then it was off to announcing our winners for the tournament!
Longest drive went to….. Rob Pozzebon!
Closest to the pin was…… Dan Harmon!
Skins Teams included:

National Construction Workforce: Dan Mattingly, Beau Underwood, Daniel Clymer, and Steve Wise.
1st place
Ellinger Riggs: Rob Ellinger, Eric Koerhing, Bob Ellis, and Rob Rozzebon. Congratulations guys! This was a fantastic event filled with fun, friends, and fundraising! We’re so lucky to have such a great group of people that do so much to make sure that this organization continues to thrive as we train the next generation of electrical contractors.
We’re Building the Future. We Are IEC.
