IEC Presents: OSHA 10
We will be offering two OSHA 10 classes in March. There will be one session held on March 19th and March 21st. The second session will be held on March 26th and March 28th. Classes will be held at the IEC office (10640 Deme Dr. Ste. P, Indianapolis, IN 46236) from 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
He will have 10 slots open for each session for contractor members to send employees to the course.
Sessions will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Costs: Members: $75 per individual Nonmembers: $90 per individual
*Invoices will be distributed once the registration is complete. Fees must be paid prior to the first day of the training. Refunds will be given to any cancellations made prior to the first day of class. Anyone that cancels after this will forfeit their registration fee.
Indiana SkillsUSA State Conference

SkillsUSA prepares America’s high performance workers by providing quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development. through building and reinforcing self-confidence, work attitudes and communications skills. The organization also emphasizes total quality at work, high ethical standards, superior work skills, life-long education and pride in the dignity of work. SkillsUSA also promotes understanding of the free enterprise system and involvement in community service activities.
Every year, SkillsUSA puts on state and national competitions to showcase students’ abilities in the trades. Central IN IEC will be there to provide materials, as well as judge and facilitate the Motor Controls, and Residential Wiring competitions. See you at the State Fairgrounds!
Contractors, family, and friends of our graduating fourth year class, please join us to celebrate our soon-to be graduates! This year, we will be hosting our Graduation Ceremonies at a new venue, The Atrium in Greenwood. Registration information, costs, and link will follow closer to the date.
Mid June – July 31st: Registration for 2019-2020 Apprenticeship Program
We will soon be booking appointments for registration for the 2019-2020 school year. If you’re looking to change careers, or if you’ve been in the field and would like to hone your skills into becoming a journeyman, be sure to read up about our program under the “Apprenticeship” tab. June 23rd – 28th: 2019 National SkillsUSA Competition
SkillsUSA heads to Louisville, Ky., June 23rd-28th, 2019, for the 55th annual National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC), a showcase of career and technical education students. More than 16,000 people — including students, teachers and business partners — are expected to participate in the weeklong event. We wish all competitors GOOD LUCK! July 31st: Final day to register for 2019-2020 school year
Any potential apprentice interested in enrolling in the 2018-2019 school year MUST be registered by this date. This includes submitting the $200 deposit, driver’s license, diploma/GED certificate, and completion of the basic reading and math skills assessment.
August: Apprenticeship Program Begins
Classes begin mid-August, official dates TBA. The schedule for each year of the program will be announced after registration has ended.
